Maintenance Worker JOB PURPOSE:
To ensure that all PCCEO offices at 711 W.
McBean are clean, safe, sanitary and free from debris at all times.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning inspections of all areas.
Perform the tasks that can be completed on-site and work with supervisor to outsource jobs that cannot be completed on-site.
EDUCATION AND WORK
Experience:
21 years of age or older.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge and experience with cleaning equipment and agents.
Also, a general knowledge of maintenance duties such as painting, repairing broken locks, changing light bulbs, plastering broken walls, carpentry, repair work, yard upkeep, and building maintenance, among other things.
Experience working with computers.
Excellent problem-solving skills DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible and ensure that all areas of the assigned facility are kept in a safe, clean, orderly and sanitary condition at all times including fixtures, floors, furniture and windows.
Area includes:
Offices Hallways Restrooms Lobbies Outside grounds Meeting Rooms Kitchen Parking Area Storage Areas 2.
The Maintenance Worker will transport trash and waste to disposal area.

The Maintenance Worker will vacuum carpets, mop, and strip and wax floors.
4.
The Maintenance Worker will clean restrooms and replenish restroom supplies.
5.
The Maintenance Worker will maintain the physical interior and exterior of the facility including debris removal and keeping entranceways clean and clear.
6.
The Maintenance Worker must prepare for events/meetings with set up and clean up afterwards in a cooperative manner & maintain a team effort.
7.
The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for mowing, edging and otherwise keeping the lawns well maintained.
8.
During the winter months, the Maintenance Worker will be responsible for keeping the entranceways and sidewalks salted and shoveled for the safety of our employees and clients.
9.
The Maintenance Worker must secure all doors; windows and emergency escape routes at the opening and closing of each day.
10.
The Maintenance Worker must operate, maneuver and effectively and/or control the actions and use standard machinery and ability to effectively use standard hand tools with care.
11.
Attend safety workshops, seminars prescribed by OSHA or other relevant agencies to maintain quality assurance.
12.
Be willing to help at other PCCEO facilities as needed.
13.
Any other duties as deemed necessary.
