9 Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description Getz Fire Equipment is looking for a Fire Training Assistant.
The applicant will be expected to assist hands-on fire extinguisher training with direct coaching of the individuals.
The assistant will be responsible for setting up and breaking down fire training equipment while taking proper care.
In the off-training season, the applicant will help in the shop with fire extinguishers and miscellaneous tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
On the job training will be provided.
Occasional overnights and various scheduled hours during fire training season (spring, summer, fall).
Experience pulling a trailer and CDL with hazmat endorsement is beneficial but not required as this position will also be our backup delivery driver.
Pay will be commensurate with experience, and the position offers a very competitive benefits package.
