The Development Director is an active organizational leader who supports, promotes, and exhibits the mission, goals, and values of Crittenton Centers.
POSITION ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Develop and implement annual fundraising plan to meet fundraising goals.
Designs, implements, and manages all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment, capital campaign, and special projects.
Collaborates with CEO to manage strategies and activities for donor cultivation, donation procurement, and stewardship.
Identifies prospective individual and corporate donors while maintaining regular correspondence.
Oversees the procurement of the sponsorship and underwriting for special events.
Conducts tours, speaking engagements, and various public relations activities on behalf of the agency.
Provides oversight for the development and implementation of the marketing plan while ensuring that it aligns with the fundraising strategy of the agency.
Lead the effort to prepare for Fundraising and Marketing Committee meetings including special events committee meetings while helping to facilitate as needed.
Collaborates with CEO to communicate development activities and outcomes to BOD.
Creates reports as may be needed or requested by donors and funders as well as for BOD and internal purposes.
POSITION ANCILLARY DUTIES:
Actively participate in agency meetings to provide support in fulfilling the mission of the agency.
Actively participate in community meetings and networking opportunities to develop relationships that support the mission of the agency.
Align work schedule with fulfilling the various job responsibilities which may include working evenings and weekends.
POSITION
Qualifications:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a field related to fundraising, marketing, public relations, communications, sales, or business administration.
CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) preferred.
Minimum of five years of relevant and related experience; experience with not-for-profit preferred.
Previous fundraising experience required; major gifts and planned giving experience preferred.
Highly organized with the ability to set priorities while managing multiple high priority projects and demonstrating sound decision making.
Effective communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
