Responsibilities and Duties Serve as a first point of contact for our patients - delivering excellent customer service Schedule eye exam appointments through calls and pre-authorizing insurance as needed Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with patients over the phone Ability to learn and navigate new software quickly Answer inbound phone calls, identify and resolve caller needs, and provide information Route calls as needed Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus) Be a Teamplayer Qualifications and Skills Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment Excellent problem-solving, listening, communication and customer service skills Proficient in relevant computer applications Previous call center experience preferred Previous insurance pre-authorization experience preferred Proficient data entry and phone skills High School diploma or equivalent Benefits We offer a competitive wage and benefit package with this position.
