Responsibilities:
To perform an extensive number of data collection functions as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of patients and to do so in a way that instills patient confidence in the treatment.
Demonstrate ophthalmic technician skills.
Education &
Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Essential Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the eye, optics, testing techniques, utilization of equipment relative to position.
Problem solver Analytical Perfectionist Personable Organized Patient management skills Efficient on computers, type at least 30 wpm.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
