SW Development Engineer - Controls Systems
Key Job Responsibilities oYour primary reponsibility will be to develop Machine Control Software using Model Based development in Matlab/ LabVIEW.
oUnderstand desired vehicle functionality and subsequently transform the requests into functional software specifications oYou will ensure design compliance to various regulations and standards across multiple regions and market oUse NI Systems & hardware platforms like like PXI, PCI, DAQ, VISA for machine control developemnt oYou will utilize Controller Area Network (CAN) tools, proprietary programming tools, tets benches oYou will participate in validation / regression test of software oYou will interrogate source code when needed oYou will assist in planning & documentation and direction of relevant activities through all phases of innovation and development oYou will direct preparation of layouts, drawings, specification, and bills of material when necessary Primary Skills oStrong Control Systems Design & Development Background oknowledge of Controller Area Networks (CAN) and related standards for vehicle communications, such as SAE J1939 oExperience with off-highway or automotive vehicles oMulti-faceted knowledge of vehicle electronic, hydraulic, and powertrain systems Secondary Skills oExperience with LabVIEW and NI hardware oWorking knowledge of programming languages.
