o 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.
o Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
o Candidates must have a Illinois license in hand at the time of application.
o This role may require floating to additional units and locationso Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.
o COVID vaccination required for onboarding.
Religious and medical declinations accepted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role.

Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable.
Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.

Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
Nights holidays are:
Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day Eve, the 3rd of July Nights, and Labor day Eve)Could float to another gen/med unit (Nephrology, Oncology, Ortho, Adult medical Surgical, Surgical, Rehab, Cardiac 5 G) These are all general medical units that any of our staff could float to.
Scrubs- no certain colors, just matching and professional, tattoos and nose rings covered while on dutyCertifications:
o BLS (Basic Life Support)o ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)o NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) Skills Checklist:
