DescriptionPerform a wide variety of analysis, interpretation, development, implementation, and administration of issues involving production employees at both organized and non-organized facilities.
This is the entry level position in Corporate Labor Relations and may be supervised by either the Labor Relations Consultant or the Sr.
Labor Relations Consultant positions.
Job DutiesSpecific duties assigned to this position will depend on the experience and knowledge of the incumbent, and on the needs of the business units or the enterprise, but could include some or all the following:
- research, statistical information, analysis, and interpretation of pay and pay-related issues - guidance and counsel to business units on pay and pay-related practices - maintain hourly rate schedules - calculate rate changes in accordance with company practices and bargaining agreements - conduct surveys of pay and pay-related practices within a certain geographic area - conduct comparative analysis of company pay and pay-related practices against pay and pay-related practices of other employees - research, analysis, and proposed interpretation of specific labor relations issues - prepare and present arbitration cases - conduct comparative analysis of labor contract provisions within the company and at other employersTravel is expected 50% or more of working timeBasic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityTop candidates may also have:
