The Opportunity:
The Human Resources Data Steward Manager will manage the business process development, improvement, and ongoing support of Caterpillars Data Privacy policies and programs with specific focus on the People data domain.
Job Duties:
Developing and implementing strategies for all activities relating to Caterpillars Data Privacy policies and programs with specific focus on the People data domain Overseeing development of relevant programs to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
Providing advice and interpretation of external regulations and corporate policies and procedures.
Identifying potential risks and compliance vulnerabilities; developing corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and providing guidance on avoiding or dealing with similar situations in the future.
BACKGROUND/
Experience:
The position requires thorough knowledge of the Divisions business processes.
Broad company knowledge and an understanding of Caterpillars Data Privacy policies and procedures, Our Values in Action, and additional Enterprise Policies and Procedures are also required.
In addition, 5 years of progressively responsible job-related experience is desired.
Excellent interpersonal skills, high integrity, and good judgment are required in order to deal with confidential issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific actions needed to support the Enterprise and Division.
