Neighborhood House Association is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Accounting Director to support the financial priorities of the organization.
About the Position - As a member of our Senior Leadership team, you will be responsible for the agency's fiscal management.
You will manage a Finance team who is responsible for accounts payables, accounts receivables, bank deposits, account reconciliations, data entry, and payroll functions.
You will analyze and present financial reports to the Board of Directors, CEO, and Program Directors.
You will oversee the annual audit process and annual budgeting and planning process.
You will manage the organization's cash flow and forecasting, and keep senior leadership informed about the organization's financial status.
You will evaluate and/or negotiate service contracts on behalf of the agency.
About You - You should have strong time management, organizational, and analytic skills.
You should be able to work independently and collaboratively with others.
You should have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
You should have a minimum of six years of broad financial experience, preferably with some experience working with grants.
You should be proficient at using Quickbooks, and have knowledge of accounting, budgeting, managing processes, and laws affecting financial procedures.
You must be willing to undergo and pass a criminal background check.
