POSITION
Summary:
The Writing Coordinator supports OSF HealthCare and Marketing & Communications strategic goals and marketing objectives through writing and development of communications and collateral materials, including but not limited to blogs, print materials, scripts, website, portal stories, memos and patient stories.
Translates complex clinical and industry concepts into easily understood content to enhance the OSF brand, increase market share, inform and engage team members, and inform and engage patients.

Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
5 years of experience with professional writing and communicating.
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Must be able to work with confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Must have exceptional grasp of spelling, grammar, and AP style.
Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments.
Must have the ability to produce excellent copy in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines with calm and professionalism.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Experience with writing advertising and promotional In-depth knowledge of the health care industry and understanding of OSF HealthCare strategy.
