Position Overview The purpose of this contract is to provide staffing for the Receiving, Staging, Shipping (RSS) warehouse and logistic support for IDPH, to include the inspection, rotation, and replacement ordering of consumable items, transportation of vaccines and equipment as necessitated by urgency of need, inspecting inventory within the RSS warehouse and within the MCM program, tracking medication metrics to include expiration dates, LOT & serial numbers, and burn rates.
Job Responsibilities Conducting inventory activities Tracking and management of inventory Inspection of asset integrity and expiration dates Preparing and packaging outbound and inbound orders Delivery and recovery of products and equipment Minimum Qualifications BA/BS in Public Health, Emergency Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent degree.
In lieu of education, 6 years of supply chain or logistics management experience.
Preferred Qualifications Prefers a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software, with a focus in excel.
Prefers 4 years of experience in inventory control and management.
Prefers thorough knowledge of public health and medical equipment/PPE.
