is a manufacturer of high quality technical and food grade chemicals.
We have an immediate opening for a Chemical Production Operator.
Hours worked are on rotating 12 hour shifts, including every other weekend.
The selected candidate must be detail oriented with excellent math, computer, and problem solving skills; as well as the ability to analyze multiple data and react quickly.
This position is responsible for the chemical production process from start-up to finish, by continuous monitoring, analyzing, and controlling process conditions.
Other job duties include:
receiving raw materials, making routine field inspections, conducting periodic laboratory analysis, and general cleaning and maintenance duties in the work and production area.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous classes in chemistry preferred Computer experience Strong problem solving and reasoning skills, with the ability to use independent judgement Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimum supervision
