POSITION
Summary:
The Reimbursement Data Analyst II is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payor reimbursement coding for assigned OSF hospitals and other entities in the electronic medical record system.
This includes, but is not limited to the following:
education, training and oversight of department staff on contract coding in the electronic medical record system, auditing department staff on contract coding, coordination and reporting between OSF HealthCare facilities, report writing, assists in contract modeling, and ongoing contract maintenance in OSF's electronic medical record system.

5 years' experience in managed care, health care or related services Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Obtain Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration certification within one year of hire date.
Strong working knowledge of hospital billing/processes, electronic medical record/processes.
Strong background in financial analysis in Microsoft Excel.
Strong working knowledge of supporting resources such as software and websites to access data needed to support the contract build and data analysis.
Strong working knowledge of managed care contract terms and methodologies.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Knowledge of project management techniques.
Working knowledge of hospital billing/processes, electronic medical record systems/processes utilized across OSF business units.
