Summary:
Engineer responsible for design, functionality, and maintenance of Electrical Systems for mechanical products.
Design work includes routing of machine harnesses and mounting of major electrical components.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Agricultural Engineering or closely related engineering/technology field.
One year experience with ProE and the drawing/releasing process are required.
Electrical Harness design experience is desired.
Caterpillar experience required.
Skills:
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player, detail oriented, and some advanced ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Electrical Harness Systems for Caterpillar machines.
Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
Investigate equipment failures, diagnose faulty operation, and make recommendations.
Required skills:
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated strong performance working on teams in a collaborative environment.
One year experience with Pro-E and the drawing/releasing process.
Practical, hands-on experience with mobile mechanical equipment.
