Interested in working for a family-owned company that is growing leaps and bounds? Echo Valley Meats is looking for a Business Administrator to work at our Bartonville IL location!
The incumbent is the primary support for customers and employees throughout all areas of the Company, specifically marketing, catering, and shipping. The Business Administrator also analyzes internal operations and implements more efficient and effective ideas or processes to increase sales and customer base.
This position is part-time with the potential of full-time as the position grows.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides superior customer service to the Company's customers and employees
Identifies appropriate social media channels and/or marketing avenues for specific business needs
Tailors customer base growth campaigns to the target audience (for both corporate gifts and catering)
Tracks performance of various marketing initiatives and develops/implements changes to improve business results
Generates proposals, contracts and other documents to secure business for the Company's services related to catering
Coordinates the planning and logistics of events, including scheduling, event themes, menus, and labor allocation
Negotiates terms and conditions of catering contracts
Conducts process improvement projects based on customer feedback, internal costs, or sales data
Performs general office duties include phone answering, greeting people, filing, routing faxes and mail
Assists staff with shipping or mail orders as needed
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS, COMPETENCIES
Advanced to mastery skills in all Microsoft Office software
Ability to create plans and/or marketing items, such as newsletters, blogs, mass e-mails, social media, biographies, articles, press releases, etc., to grow the customer base in Corporate Gifts and Catering
Advanced to mastery skills in analytics: project management, process flow, process improvement
Advanced skills in information analysis
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to prioritize workload by urgency and importance
Advanced knowledge of business procedures
Ability to make recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operational and support procedures
Must be professional, organized, motivated, and punctual
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree highly preferred but not required
3+ years of progressive professional experience in business administration, analytics or reporting
Progressive office admin and/or marketing experience required
Retail Industry experience desired but not required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
